Septima cabernet sauvignon 2022 Mendoza
This product has no valid combination.
The Séptima Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is an expressive red wine from the renowned Mendoza wine region of Argentina, specifically from the Agrelo sub-region. This area is known for its excellent conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, thanks to the high altitude of the vineyards (around 1,050 metres above sea level) and a favourable climate with plenty of sun and large differences in temperature between day and night. The grapes for this wine are harvested by hand and carefully vinified. Part of the wine is aged for several months in oak barrels, adding complexity and structure. In the glass the wine shows a deep ruby red colour. The bouquet is rich and layered, with primary aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, ripe plums and cherries. These are complemented by secondary notes of vanilla, cedar, tobacco and a hint of spices such as pepper and bay leaf. On the palate the Séptima Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 offers a full and powerful experience. Firm but well-integrated tannins provide structure, while the balanced acidity adds freshness and liveliness. Flavours of ripe black fruit are joined by nuances of chocolate, coffee and a subtle touch of oak, resulting in a complex and harmonious taste. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant balance between fruity and spicy elements. This wine is drinking well now, but also has the potential to develop further and can be kept for up to five years after the harvest.
An excellent match for grilled red meat, game dishes and pasta with truffle. The wine's earthy notes complement these dishes perfectly.
