Our historic wine cellars are among Maastricht's hidden cultural treasures. The oldest section dates back to the 14th century and once formed part of the city's medieval fortifications. The naturally cool underground climate made these cellars ideal for storing wine, and they continue to serve that purpose today. The climate controlled section of these fairytale like vaulted cellars provides an exceptional setting for events of up to 80 guests. Within our historic city cellars lies a remarkable collection of bottles, some of which are centuries old. Rare Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Port wines that can be found nowhere else, representing an extraordinary legacy of more than three centuries of wine trading. Over the centuries, many exceptional bottles have been carefully preserved in a special part of our historic wine cellars known as The Treasury. Surrounded by some of our finest wines, this intimate space creates an unforgettable experience for every guest.
