This white wine has a bright, pale gold colour with a brilliant sheen. The aromas are expressive and complex, with notes of ripe peach, apricot, citrus and floral hints such as orange blossom and honeysuckle. Subtle spicy and lightly mineral accents add extra depth. On the palate the wine is full and balanced, combining the creamy texture of Chardonnay with the aromatic intensity of Viognier. Flavours of stone fruit and tropical fruit are supported by refreshing acidity and a light minerality. The finish is long and refined, with a harmonious combination of fruity and floral notes that linger for a long time.
Excellent with grilled fish, shellfish and crustaceans, creamy cheeses and poultry in a light sauce.
