This manzanilla has a bright, straw-coloured hue with a light golden glow, typical of a wine that has aged for several years under flor. The nose is intense and refined, with pronounced floral notes, lightly saline accents and subtle hints of toasted almonds, dried apple and fresh bread dough. On the palate, the wine is dry and lively, with refreshing acidity and an elegant, light body. The saline and nutty notes are beautifully balanced by the delicate freshness and the refined bitterness on the finish. The finish is long and subtle, with lingering notes of almond and a characteristic salinity typical of authentic manzanillas from Sanlúcar.
Perfect with seafood, oysters, fried fish, Ibérico ham or tapas such as olives and salted almonds.
