Description:

Viña Pomal Crianza 2020 from Bodegas Bilbaínas is a classic red wine from the famous Rioja region, made from 100% Tempranillo. This Crianza was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels and a further 6 months in bottle, giving a lovely balance between fruit and oak. In the glass, the wine shines with a deep cherry-red colour. The nose offers seductive aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherries and plums, combined with notes of vanilla, coconut and a touch of sweet spice. The palate is soft and round, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant finish carrying subtle notes of oak and a hint of tobacco. This wine is an excellent choice with grilled meat, stews or hard cheeses. Or enjoy it on its own, as an inviting introduction to the classic style of Rioja.

Food pairing:

Perfect with grilled meat, stews and hard cheeses.
