Bourgogne Aligoté 2025 from Lamblin & Fils is a white wine made from 100% Aligoté, the 'other' white grape of Burgundy, sourced from the northern part of the region around Chablis and the Yonne, where chalky soils set the tone. In the glass the wine shows a pale yellow colour. The nose is fresh and pure, with citrus, green apple and yellow plum, complemented by a chalky, mineral touch and a hint of yeast.
On the palate the Aligoté is dry and invigorating, with the lively acidity so typical of this grape. The medium body and soft texture make the wine pleasantly approachable, while citrus and minerality keep it taut and fresh. The finish is bright and refreshing, with a lightly nutty, saline aftertaste. A versatile wine to enjoy young.
Ideal with moules marinières, oysters, gratinated snails and goat's cheese; also the classic base for a kir.
