The ‘Elégance’ is made from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes grown on limestone-rich soils in the Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnais. The grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press and the juice is settled for 24 hours at 12 °C. This is followed by fermentation and 10 months of ageing in both stainless steel tanks (80%) and French oak barrels (20%, lightly toasted). The result: a straw-yellow wine with delicate silver highlights and notes of citrus, flowers, exotic fruit and a touch of vanilla on the nose. Full and round on the palate, with minerality, soft acidity, a subtly creamy character and a lingering, fresh finish
