The wine presents itself in a bright ruby red with purple highlights. The nose is expressive and seductive, with aromas of Morello cherry, fresh raspberry and red roses, subtly complemented by spicy nuances of pepper and toast from the oak ageing. On the palate you experience a rich structure: medium to full body with juicy red and dark fruit, wrapped in elegant, satiny tannins. The acidity brings freshness, the mineral undertone adds complexity and the finish is long, lightly spicy and soft. The wine was aged for 12–15 months in lightly toasted French oak (20–25% new oak)
Grilled beef, poultry, veal, mushroom risotto, charcuterie or soft cheeses go perfectly with the structure and elegance of this wine.
