Bollinger PN 2019 is a prestige Blanc de Noirs champagne that shows the essence of Pinot Noir in its purest form. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, with an emphasis on terroir expression and depth. The champagne has a golden yellow colour with delicate, fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries and raspberries come to the fore, combined with notes of brioche, honey and subtle spices. On the palate this champagne is rich and powerful, with a lovely balance between fruity freshness and a light toasty touch. The palate reveals nuances of ripe peach, orange peel, toasted hazelnut and a mineral undertone, giving it a refined complexity. The long, elegant finish makes this champagne particularly impressive.
Excellent with duck breast, truffle risotto, smoked salmon or mature cheeses such as Comté.
