This Blanc de Noirs is made from 100% Pinot Meunier from Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy. In the glass the wine shows a bright golden-yellow colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is expressive and fruity, with aromas of yellow apple, ripe pear, citrus zest and subtle brioche. On the palate the Champagne is fresh, pure and mineral, with notes of yellow fruit and a delicate structure. The acidity is lively yet well integrated. The body is remarkably full for a Meunier Champagne, with an elegant texture and a mineral, medium-length finish.
Ideal as a festive aperitif or with luxurious dishes such as scallops, turbot with beurre blanc, veal sweetbreads or aged cheeses such as Comté and Parmigiano Reggiano.
