The Holset Ceramic 2020 is a refined sparkling wine from South Limburg, made according to the traditional method. This wine combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, resulting in a complex and elegant sparkling wine. In the glass the wine sparkles with a pale yellow colour and fine, persistent bubbles. The aromatic palette is dominated by fresh notes of green apple, citrus fruit and floral nuances, with subtle hints of brioche from the long ageing on the lees. The mousse is refined and creamy, and the acidity is lively, giving a refreshing mouthfeel. The finish is dry and long, with a pleasant minerality. This wine is ideal served as an aperitif, but also perfect with refined dishes such as seafood and mild cheeses.
Perfect with seafood, smoked salmon, mild cheeses and as an aperitif.
