Jermann Red Angel 2020 is a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir, from the hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The wine has a bright ruby-red colour with light garnet reflections. On the nose, refined aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and blueberries emerge, combined with spicy notes such as cinnamon and a hint of vanilla from subtle wood ageing. The palate is smooth and refined, with a lively freshness and velvety tannins. The balance between fruit, acidity and structure creates an elegant and accessible wine with a subtle minerality. The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering notes of red fruit and a light spiciness.
Excellent with grilled duck, veal, mushroom risotto and soft cheeses.
