The wine has a bright straw-yellow colour with light coppery glints, typical of Pinot Grigio from this region. On the nose it reveals fresh, elegant aromas of white peach, ripe pear, citrus fruit such as lime and a subtle floral touch of white blossom. A light minerality adds further refinement. The palate is fresh and balanced, with a pleasant structure and a light creaminess. The fruit notes are nicely supported by lively acidity and a subtle almond-like touch on the finish. The finish is long and harmonious, with a perfect balance between freshness and finesse.
Excellent as an aperitif, and also an ideal partner for light fish dishes, shellfish and seafood, fresh salads and soft cheeses such as burrata or young goat’s cheese.
