Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is one of the most iconic Champagnes in the world and represents the elegant, refined style of the house. This cuvée is a blend of the three classic Champagne grapes, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, carefully selected from various vineyards across the Champagne region. In the glass the wine has a bright golden-yellow colour with a lively, fine mousse. The nose is expressive and opens with aromas of fresh citrus, green apple and white peach, complemented by notes of brioche, almond and light honey. On the palate the Champagne is fresh and refined, with a lovely balance between fruity vibrancy and mature complexity. Flavours of pear, peach and citrus are supported by subtle touches of toast and hazelnut from ageing sur lie. The fine mousse and refreshing acidity create a soft and elegant texture. The finish is long and harmonious, with a light minerality and a hint of almond.
Excellent as an aperitif, or with oysters, sushi, light fish dishes or creamy cheeses.
