The wine has a pale straw-yellow colour with bright highlights, reflecting the freshness and purity of the Pansa Blanca grape. On the nose, delicate aromas of citrus fruit such as lemon and grapefruit come forward, accompanied by white blossom, fennel and subtle notes of almond and wet stone, underlining the mineral influence of the terroir. On the palate, the wine offers lively freshness and a fine structure. The combination of citrus, ripe white fruit and subtle herbal notes is supported by a pronounced minerality and a pleasant creaminess from ageing on the fine lees. The acidity is well integrated and makes for a long, balanced finish with a light saline touch.
Delicious with seafood, grilled fish, Mediterranean salads or creamy cheeses such as burrata and young Manchego.
