Château Lafon-Rochet is a Fourth Growth (4e Grand Cru Classé) in the famous 1855 classification and has a long history dating back to the 17th century. Located in Saint-Estèphe, one of the most prestigious appellations in the Médoc, the château is known for its classic Bordeaux style with powerful structure and exceptional ageing potential. The vineyards, on a mix of gravel and clay soils, cover 45 hectares and are ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, which forms the backbone of the wine.
