Description:

Pommery Apanage Brut is a stylish Champagne that beautifully reflects the house signature: fresh, refined and full of finesse. In the glass it gleams pale golden yellow with a lively, fine mousse that rises elegantly. The bouquet opens with fresh aromas of lemon, grapefruit and green apple, subtly interwoven with floral notes and a touch of white peach. As the wine develops, layers of brioche, almond and light honey emerge, the result of longer ageing on the lees. On the palate the Apanage is lively yet creamy in structure, with a harmonious balance between fresh acidity and gentle roundness. The Chardonnay brings refined, mineral freshness, while the Pinot Noir adds depth and structure and the Pinot Meunier contributes fruity roundness. The flavour profile is taut yet layered, with citrus, ripe pear and subtle toasty notes leading into a long, dry finish with a mineral touch. Thanks to its longer ageing than the standard Pommery Brut Royal, the Apanage has more complexity and a softer mousse, leaving a luxurious impression.

Food pairing:

Ideal as a festive aperitif, but also lovely with oysters, sashimi, light fish dishes or a refined ceviche. Also pairs elegantly with poultry in a creamy sauce.
