The distillation is done slowly and with precision to preserve the purity and finesse of the aroma. The colour is deep gold, obtained from ageing in small French oak barriques. The aroma is intense and layered, with scents of vanilla, caramel, dried apricots and roasted nuts, complemented by spicy notes of cinnamon and liquorice. On the palate, this grappa is silky smooth and full of flavour, with a beautiful balance between fruity and wood-aged elements. Warm notes of dried fruit, honey and a hint of chocolate flow into a long, refined finish with a light touch of tobacco and spices.
