The Recioto di Soave 2019 Nettare di Bacco is a seductive golden wine that owes its unique character to the traditional appassimento method, in which the Garganega grapes are carefully dried. In the glass the wine shines with a deep golden colour that reflects its richness and concentration. The nose reveals intense aromas of honey, dried apricots, figs and dates, combined with delicate notes of ripe peach and tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango. Subtle accents of vanilla and almonds, derived from the ageing, give the wine extra complexity. On the palate the wine opens with a silky sweetness, perfectly balanced by a refreshing acidity that keeps it light-footed and lively. The flavours of dried fruit and honey are beautifully complemented by hints of citrus and a mineral undertone. The finish is long and luscious, with lingering notes of honey and toasted almonds.
Perfect with desserts such as tiramisu, pear tart or crème brûlée. Also delicious with blue cheese or as a luxurious end to a meal
