J. Fernando

Bodegas J. Fernando is a family wine project from Spain, with its origins in Castilla-La Mancha and later expanded to the well-known wine region of Rueda. The current generation, led by José Fernando Pérez Salamanca, builds on a long family tradition in viticulture going back several generations. Since 2017 the focus has shifted more strongly to quality wines from Rueda, where old and newly planted vineyards come together.
The winery's philosophy revolves around combining tradition with modern techniques, with the aim of making wines that clearly reflect the character of the region. The vineyards, with soils of sand, clay, limestone and pebbles, are particularly well suited to fresh and aromatic grapes such as Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. J. Fernando also produces red wines from varieties including Tempranillo. The result is approachable, fruit-driven wines with a pure style and international appeal.
