Located in the Mosel region of Germany, Weingut Thanisch is one of the oldest and most respected wine estates in the region. Founded in 1648, it has been handed down from generation to generation within the same family ever since. With around 8 hectares of vineyards, including some of the most famous sites on the Mosel, Weingut Thanisch produces mainly Riesling wines that are internationally renowned for their elegance, finesse and expression of their unique terroir.

The estate is located in Bernkastel-Kues, one of the most picturesque and historic towns on the Mosel, and is known for its traditional yet innovative viticultural techniques. Thanisch uses sustainable practices and strives to preserve the natural balance in the vineyard, resulting in wines of exceptional quality.
