Veuve Ambla

Veuve Ambla

Rivarose is a sparkling wine brand of Maison Veuve Ambal, a leading family business based in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy. Veuve Ambal was founded in 1898 by Marie Ambal and has now been in the hands of the Piffaut family for six generations. The house is regarded as a pioneer of Crémant de Bourgogne and is today the largest producer of this appellation. Drawing on more than a century of experience, Veuve Ambal combines traditional production methods with modern techniques to produce sparkling wines of consistent quality.
The company owns around 280 hectares of its own vineyards, spread across Burgundy's most important terroirs, including the Côte Chalonnaise, the Mâconnais, the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and the area around Chablis. All vineyards are managed sustainably under HVE3 certification (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
The Rivarose brand was developed to offer approachable, fruity and elegant sparkling wines for a broad audience. The wines are made from carefully selected grapes from the South of France and combine a fresh style with excellent value for money. Rivarose is known for its lively fruit expression, fine mousse and versatility as an aperitif or with light dishes. Thanks to Veuve Ambal's expertise, the Rivarose wines also benefit from well over a hundred years of know-how in sparkling wine production.
