Lacoste Borie

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a renowned fifth growth (cinquième cru classé) from Pauillac, an appellation known for powerful, structured wines. Located on an elevated gravel plateau, the château has a terroir that is ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The Borie family, who also own Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, have raised Grand-Puy-Lacoste to a high level by investing in quality and precision. Lacoste Borie is the estate's second wine and is made from grapes from younger vines, in a style that is slightly suppler and approachable earlier than the grand vin, while still displaying the typical elegance and class of Pauillac.
