J.H. Andresen is one of the last independent, traditional port producers in Portugal. Founded in 1845, the house has a rich history of craftsmanship and dedication to quality. While many port producers have lost their independence, Andresen has always held on to its own vision and traditions.

The grapes are grown in the prestigious Douro region, known for its steep terraces and unique terroir. Andresen specialises in Colheita and Tawny ports, with an emphasis on long ageing in oak casks.

The Colheita Port 2009 is a textbook example of Andresen’s craftsmanship. This single-vintage port is made from grapes harvested in 2009, which then spent more than ten years ageing in cask. The result is a port that is rich, complex and elegant, and a perfect reflection of Andresen’s heritage.
